It has been a weekend of goals, controversy and sublime football. Arsenal produced a moment of brilliance to score their first goal as they thrashed Norwich 4-1 at the Emirates. United dropped points again at Old Trafford albeit not losing this time. Chelsea edge Liverpool to go 2nd as Samuel Eto controversially setup the first goal in the 4-1 defeat of Cardiff City.In the early kick-off, Liverpool could only manage a 2-2 draw against 10 man Newcastle who led 2-1 despite the sending off of Mbiwa in the first half for a professional foul on Luiz Suarez. Gerrard stepped up to take the resulting Penalty and scored his 100th league goal for the Merseyside.
Swansea, Everton and Manchester City continue their push for the EPL summit with Vital wins; Aguero proving too much for the West Ham defense. Sunderland's Poyet will want to forget his debut as Manager as fast as Usian Bolt. Stoke and West Brom played a goaless draw at the Britannia.
Chelsea went behind to an early Goal as a lack of communication between David Luiz and Cech allowed Jordon to slot the ball past Cech. Samuel Eto'o equalized for Chelsea in controversial circumstance as he nicked the ball of Cardiff Goalkeeper when he bounced the Ball for a kick-off. Referee Anthony Taylor wrongly applied FIFA rules which indicates the Goalie was still in possession of the ball and should have blwon the whistle for an infringement.
Arsenal started the game against Norwich brightly with Ozil and Cazorla pulling the strings in the midfield. Cazorla had an early shot saved by Rudy the Norwich Goal keeper before Arsenal contrived to produce a moment of Slick passing football and interchange which the sea of Norwich defenders could do nothing about. Cazorla to Wilshere, Wilshere to Giroud who returned the pass back to the Englishman and a quick interchange between the duo put Wilshere through to slot pass Rudy for what could be a Goal of the Season contender.
