Arsenal wanted to sign me reveals Maroune Fellaini

Manchester United summer signing Maroune Fellaini has revealed Arsenal's interest in signing him in the last Summer Window. The former Everton midfield ace in a last minute summer transfer on deadline day signed for Manchester United in a  deal worth £27m and has now admitted he had several other options open to him including the Gunners.

Belgian midfielder Maroune Fellaini
"In a transfer window, there is always a list of players, you never know if it’s true or not. But for me, I knew [Moyes] was interested in me.

"Chelsea? No comment. Arsenal? It’s true, they were interested, but Manchester United convinced me to sign for them."
The 25-year-old who has so far failed to make a big impact at United this term is confident Moyes can help him produce his earlier form at Everton. David Moyes has given me confidence,’ he added.
"When I was in trouble early at Everton, he helped me and supported me. "He did everything for me to become a great player.
"I was criticized, nobody knew who I was. I succeeded because I worked a lot. That’s why I’m playing for Manchester United today."
Manchester United faithful's will have to exercise some patience and hope David Moyes can bring out the best in Fellaini which is to cause problems for Centre-halfs and occasionally pop in the goals in the colours of the Red Devils.
